The award winning Tollesbury Café on lower Woodrolfe Road serves breakfasts, light lunches and hot and cold drinks it’s the village’s main daytime café and a reliable stop before or after a walk along the sea wall. It’s also dog friendly.
The cafe specialises in delicious home made cakes, cookies and brownies from an award winning baker and offers 30 different home baked scone varieties both sweet and savoury served with jam and cream or chutney.. the delicious Tollesbury cream tea delight
At the UK Small Business Awards 2025 the café placed fifth nationally for Best Café, and its in-house bakery, Sharmer Bakes, was named national runner-up for Best Bakery – having been shortlisted in October as the Essex finalist in that category.
Both businesses once again have been nominated and have reached the finals in the 2026 Small Business Awards
