The Loft Tea Rooms occupy the first of the four historic Sail Loft stores on Woodrolfe Road, the same buildings where Thomas Lipton’s America’s Cup yachts once wintered. Teas, coffees and light lunches are served with a view over Woodrolfe Creek to the marina beyond.
The cakes are the reason to come. A Victoria sponge worth the walk, and a changing selection you won't find on any high street. Look out too for their cheese and samphire scones, served with cream cheese and chutney, made with samphire from the same saltmarsh you’re looking out over.
